Aged Care Cook

The Willochra Home is seeking applications for a Cook to work in our Commercial Kitchen. Providing Nutritional Home cooked Meals to our Residents.
This role includes:
• Preparation and cooking meals, morning and afternoon teas,
inline with Residents’ individual requirements including the preparation of Modified diets. Excluding breakfast
• Ordering and Restocking, following Willochra guidelines.
• Collating resident menus.
• Supervision of on duty Kitchen hand.
• Supervision of cleaning duties, whilst on shift.
• General cleaning duties.
• Documentation
• Ability to work within a 7-day roster.


This role requires a good understanding of:
• The Food Safety Program / Food Safety Standards.
• Hand hygiene and infection control.


Requirements:
• Good and Clear communication Skills.
• Ability to work in a small team environment.
• Flexible and Adaptable.
• Willingness to learn and follow the nutritional requirements for Aged Care, as per Willochra Homes Guidelines.
• Covid 19 Vaccinations x3
• Current Flu Vaccination.
• Current Aged Care Screening and Working with Children’s Check, or proof of application towards these.
• Current Police Check
